Our Story:

A Gem Among The Special Needs Community
As founders of Heart of a Warrior, we have been actively involved with the local West Licking Special Olympics since 2007. In July 2018, the Special Olympics USA Games were held in Seattle. Our attendance was a life-changing experience one we will never forget.
God put a calling on our lives to stretch ourselves beyond what we felt comfortable with. The opening ceremony was very moving when you truly understand how Special Olympics was founded, in a backyard. A small horse farm had been available for purchase and shortly after the seed was planted, the calling to turn it into a special needs farm possibly more had begun.
So many doors have opened in such a short time. We’re excited to see where this journey will take us. Heart of a Warrior Farm is a startup Special Needs Farm aimed to help individuals and organizations with special needs to be able to feel the love of animals in a farm setting.
